Happy Thanksgiving!

It's Thanksgiving Day--it's a day of football, the Macy's Parade, family fun, and of course, food.  Speaking of food, here's a funny turkey video we thought you'd love.

5 Reasons to Give Thanks This Holiday Season

1. It's easy and doesn't require a lot of thought, nor does it take up a lot of time.

2. When you show your appreciation towards your loved ones, it uplifts them and makes them feel good.

3. Showing appreciation and giving words of affirmation lifts you up as well because you are acknowledging positivity in your life.

4. It's respectful and shows that you are paying attention to those around you.

5. Practicing thankfulness increases the value of your life.

As you are practicing thankfulness, you are probably also thinking about all the family that is about to storm into your house, though. ;) We know--we've been there.

Happy Thanksgiving

Lots to Do on Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving Day, after all, turns out to be a day full of early mornings in the kitchen for all the family cooks. These mornings are spent getting all of the recipes together and making sure you are timing everything out just perfectly before the family comes. Not only are you cooking, you are also preparing the rest of the house for everyone to arrive, making sure all the rooms are spotless and the table is set nicely, with the Thanksgiving centerpiece set on the table to make it all complete.

Maybe you have your extended family coming for a full-on feast or maybe it's just a nice intimate meal spent with your close family. Either way, you've got a lot to do. That turkey is not going to cook itself, after all.

Are you Thinking Your Kitchen Isn't Big Enough

The kitchen is starting to crowd around you a little bit. As the years go by, more and more family members keep coming, making it harder for your kitchen to meet all of the holiday demands--at least in a timely manner.

If realizing that your kitchen isn't necessarily big enough to host that many people, you also realize that your dining room is just not cutting it either. It's kind of hard to fit all of your family in the dining room also, forcing extra tables to be set up throughout the house to make sure everybody has a seat. You might even have to have some family members sitting on the couch.

If this is you, then maybe it's time to consider upgrading! We have plenty of options on the market that just might be more suitable for your family's needs, whether you are looking for a more versatile and spacious kitchen or a more expansive living room or dining room area.
